Mould & Damp

‘Mould & Damp’ before and after photos below, removed by simply using warm soapy water and a soft cloth. I’ve seen some posts recently of people having similar issues this time of year.
It’s easy enough to remove it and get rid of that damp smell, as well as the unsightly marks as below. Check behind your blinds, furniture, cupboards etc. It can occur anywhere that is either a cold spot in your home or somewhere that suffers from poor ventilation.
If you’ve been here many times before, and it continues to return, even with regular ventilation, then it might be an external issue. That’s when you’ll need to seek additional advice.
Once you’re on top of the problem, you may also want to re-decorate and hide those stains that have been left, because if it’s already damp when you clean it, then you might accidentally remove the paint.
It’s not great for your health either over a very long period of time, so try and get on top of it as quickly as you can. Good luck…
There’s a handy pdf here, on tips and tricks to prevent damp and mould.
