What Documents are Required to Sell Your Home?
- Proof of your identity
- Property title deeds (These may be with your previous mortgage provider or Solicitor)
- Shared or individual freehold/leasehold documentation if applicable
- Energy Performance Certificate
- Management information pack (Solicitor/Conveyancer will supply for you to complete)
- Fittings and contents form (Solicitor/Conveyancer will supply for you to complete)
- Property information form (Solicitor/Conveyancer will supply for you to complete)
- Mortgage details if applicable (At least have in place a deal in principle – DIP)
Try to ensure that if you have had any building/electrical/gas installation work done on your property, that you have the certificates confirming the work carried out.
